AMSS Culturally Competent Mental Health & Wellness Program

The American Muslim Senior Society (AMSS) is proud to partner with the American Muslim Health Professionals (AMPH) to develop its Culturally Competent Mental Health and Wellness Program, sponsored by the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) GGEAR Program.

Together, AMSS and UMB GGEAR program are developing two culturally responsive Mental Health and Wellness Toolkits for:

  • Imams and Muslim Community Leaders
  • Healthcare Professionals

AMSS gratefully recognizes AMPH, the Muslim Community Center (MCC), the AMSS Mental Health Advisory Council, and community leaders for their continued partnership and guidance.
